- Participate in the company’s daily accounting activities;
- Ensure that each client receives their invoices according to operational requirements (frequency, rates, and format);
- Ensure that cash receipts are consistent and comply with contractual terms;
- Prepare updates and monitor cash flow;
- Contribute to the establishment of cost prices;
- Participate in accounting management for construction projects, including budget planning, cost calculation, and price setting;
- Assist in preparing monthly and year-end financial statements;
- Participate in preparing annual budgets and monitoring them monthly;
- Participate in inventory and supply management;
- Prepare GST and QST filings;
- Other related tasks associated with the position.
Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller position is critical for the company’s growth. This is a new role at Beameo.
The Assistant Controller will report to the Financial Controller and will work closely with them as well as with the management team to create, improve, and maintain management reports and various analytical tools.
They will also work on annual budgets and assist in preparing financial statements.

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting;
- Hold a CPA or CPA auditor designation;
- Have worked for an accounting firm in audit;
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, and control;
- Proficiency in French, both written and spoken;
Assets
- Experience in due diligence during business acquisition processes;
- Familiarity with managing a performance bond portfolio;
- Familiarity with managing an insurance portfolio for a fleet of vehicles, machinery, and buildings;
- Experience in implementing an ERP system (software deployment);
- Experience working in a company with ISO 9001 certification;
- Ability to work independently and resourcefully;
- Precision and strong attention to detail;
- Dynamic, rigorous, and diligent;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Natural leadership qualities;
- Bilingual, as some clients are located outside Quebec;
- Annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, depending on experience.
