Responsibilities.
What you will need to do.
- Plan, organize and coordinate daily site activities;
- Supervise QCC teams, subcontractors and suppliers;
- Allocate tasks according to priorities and progress;
- Ensure optimum productivity of teams and equipment;
- Actively participate in work when required;
- Supervise the installation of traffic lights, control cabinets and detection systems;
- Coordinate street lighting, lampposts and site lighting;
- Supervise the installation of electric charging stations;
- Ensure compliance of electrical connections and underground infrastructures;
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and electrical diagrams;
- Enforce OHS rules and safe work practices;
- Take safety breaks and identify risks on site;
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn;
- Maintain a clean, safe worksite that complies with current standards;
- Coordinate with other trades, municipalities and utilities;
- Communicate progress to project manager and superintendent;
- Quickly identify problems and propose solutions;
- Ensure compliance with work schedules and quality.
