Beameo is looking to hire a financial controller to help accelerate its growth trajectory. We’re (very) ambitious! We’re aiming to triple our revenues and double the size of our teams within 5 years.

Your role

You become Beameo’s financial reference. You’ll manage the accounting team, structure operations, produce financial statements, steer the annual budget and provide management with analyses to guide strategic decisions.

In other words: you take the wheel of financial performance.

Responsibilities. What you will need to do.

Manage and supervise day-to-day operations;
Manage and coach the accounting team;
Produce monthly and annual financial statements;
Supervise construction project management (budgets, costs, margins);
Prepare and monitor the budget;
Manage invoicing, collections, accounts payable and cash flow;
Ensure compliance: insurance, contracts (denunciations, deductions, etc.), GST/TVQ, CNESST, CCQ declarations;
Implement, improve and monitor processes and procedures;
Support the team’s IT needs.

The requirements. What you need.

CPA with over 7 years’ experience in construction (accounting, auditing, control).
Practice experience (minimum 2 years).
Natural leadership and team management skills.
Thoroughness, autonomy, resourcefulness, attention to detail and excellent people skills.
Fluency in French.
Bilingualism: we have English-speaking customers.
Face-to-face work – we’re 100% in the office, as are our teams on site, because that’s where the action is.

Salary between $100,000 and $150,000 depending on experience.
